Michelle’s Special Education Advocacy Services
Advocate With Calm And Get The Results Needed.
If your child’s needs are being ignored, you are not overreacting. If your gut says something is wrong, you are probably right.
Schools often count on parents not knowing their rights or how to gain accountability.
I help parents of children with IEPs and 504 plans—no matter the diagnosis or unique learning needs—cut through delays and excuses, using a calm but firm approach to ensure your child’s needs are met without getting lost in “wait and see” meetings.
While I specialize in sensory processing, ADHD, autism, and executive functioning challenges, I support all families seeking clear, confident advocacy so their child can thrive in school.

Supporting your understanding of parent rights under IDEA.
While I do submit formal letters to help ensure your parental rights are upheld within the IEP process, I am not a lawyer and do not provide legal advice or representation. I assist parents in understanding their rights under IDEA, including topics such as Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), due process, and state and federal complaint options, while focusing on proactive strategies to help avoid these stressful measures whenever possible. All advice and advocacy strategies are rooted in Federal Special Education Law and real-world, proven practices.

Family-centered support for multiple children under one plan.
Many families have more than one child with IEP or 504 needs, and navigating separate plans for each can feel overwhelming. When you work with me, you do not need to purchase separate packages for each child. Your package can be flexibly used to support multiple children under one family plan, ensuring that each child’s unique needs are understood, their plans are reviewed, and your advocacy strategies align across your family. This approach respects your time, your budget, and your desire for consistency and calm in your advocacy journey.
No surprise bills or hidden fees.
You will always know exactly what you are paying for, with no surprise charges or hidden costs. Each package includes unlimited Voxer support and full access to all resources and templates at no extra charge. If you need additional hours, you can add them at your current rate, with clear communication before any changes are made. I believe in transparency, so you can focus on advocating for your child without financial worry or confusion.

You already carry so much—therapy appointments, errands, paperwork, dinner (again). School struggles shouldn’t be draining your time, energy, or peace of mind.
If you’re stuck in the loop of questions with no real answers, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure this out by yourself.
Let’s get you the clarity, support, and direction you need—so you can show up for your child with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my package for multiple children?
Absolutely. I know your family’s needs do not fit into a box, and your plan will reflect that. Your package can be used to support multiple children under one family plan, ensuring each child’s unique needs are understood and addressed within the IEP process.
Do you attend meetings?
Yes, virtual or in-person IEP/504 meeting attendance is included. Meeting attendance is paired with preparation and follow-up planning to ensure you feel confident, organized, and ready to participate fully in advocating for your child.
How can I use my hours?
However, you need to best support your family. You can use your hours flexibly for the following services, but not limited to:
- Phone or video calls for planning and coaching
- Email or secure messaging (such as Voxer) for ongoing guidance
- Document reviews, including IEPs, evaluations, and behavior plans
- Meeting preparation and strategy planning
- Support during live virtual or in-person meetings
You are in control of how you use your time, ensuring your family receives support in the way that best fits your needs.
How long are packages valid?
All packages are valid for one year from the date of purchase, allowing you the flexibility to use your hours as needed throughout the school year, without any pressure or rush.
Have leftover time? Any unused hours can be added to your next package when you renew, ensuring your investment in your child’s progress is never wasted.
Are there hidden fees?
My pricing is straightforward and consistent, with no hidden fees or unexpected charges. You will always know exactly what to expect. Once you become a client, the price of the package you purchased will remain the same, even if my prices go up, as long as you stick with the same package.
Do you handle mediation or state and federal complaints?
I prioritize conflict prevention and collaborative problem-solving with your child’s team. However, if challenges escalate, I will guide you calmly and strategically in understanding your options under your parental rights.
Michelle’s Special Education Advocacy is not a law firm, and I am not a lawyer. Special education attorneys hold a different responsibility within your parental rights, and I do not provide legal advice or representation.
My services are designed to help you navigate the IEP process effectively, using proven strategies to secure the supports your child needs without the threat of legal action. If mediation becomes necessary, I can attend the meeting with you as part of your advocacy support, but not as your legal representative.
