Collapse to Recovery Lens
Contact Michelle For Scheduling and Pricing Details
Observe the full recovery process—not just the moment behavior becomes visible.
School teams often document behavior at its most visible point: refusal, shutdown, escalation, or removal. This workshop introduces the Stimulation Collapse to Task Recovery Lens, an entry point into the Stimulation Profile System that helps teams observe what happens before, during, and after a student experiences a breakdown in regulation.
Participants will learn how to:
• Recognize collapse as a process rather than a single behavioral event
• Identify observable stages between dysregulation and re-engagement
• Understand recovery as returning self-regulation—not simply completing the task
• Distinguish student-centered recovery pacing from compliance-based expectations
• Document behavior objectively without assigning motive
• Connect the antecedent, regulation supports, interventions, recovery indicators, and instructional access factors
• Use recovery data to strengthen IEP, FBA, BIP, accommodations, and staff-support discussions
Included:
• Introduction to the Collapse to Task Recovery Lens
• Behavioral Collapse-to-Recovery Framework
• Reintegration and Recovery Arc guidance
• Objective documentation examples
• Practical application for educational teams
• Optional connection to an authorized one-student trial packet
Participants leave with a brain-based observational lens for understanding how students move from behavioral collapse back toward regulated classroom participation—and how staff responses can either support or interrupt that recovery process.

IMPORTANT USE BOUNDARYThis workshop provides an educational introduction to one component of the Stimulation Profile System. Workshop attendance and materials do not constitute a license agreement or authorize replication, modification, staff training, multi-student use, or broader implementation of the system. When combined with an authorized trial packet, use is limited to one identified student and remains subject to the terms included with that packet.
